Over the years in the pursuit of Vision, we acquired enormous capabilities in critical areas of Information and Communication technologies. These technologies coupled with our unique projects and solution delivery. Soon these competences and skills were in high demand by organizations that had a strong desire to succeed.
To this end we became Information Technology and Systems Integration Consultants to a number of high profile National Projects and organizations, such The Petroleum (Special) Trust Funds; 1996-1999, Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE), 2000-2001, Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation 2005-2007, to name but a few.
Information Technology Consulting + Systems Integration
Our work in this area centered on using Information Technology to transform organizations and enabling them achieve their stated objectives, as demonstrated in a number high profile projects such the PTF, Bureau of Enterprise (BPE), Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation, Petroleum Equalization Fund.
Our work in this respect usually starts with the development of the Strategic Architecture that will drive the transformation objective.
In the Case the BPE, we titled the design Digital Architecture to Empower (DAtE).
This high level blueprint is later explored in more detailed designs for Network, Communication and Power Supply infrastructure, the Solution implementation and Integration Design, the Change Management Strategy, etc.
In addition to putting the design together, we drive the entire process until the stated objectives are attained.
Work Simplification
We have over the years developed know-how and technologies for Collaboration and Work Simplification. The technology was drawn out of the need to put in place a seamless work environment that simplifies work.
In working with a number of industries and organizations, we came to the understanding that in order to multiply the productivity of workers in organization, there is the need to change the way people work, i.e. simplify work.
In response to this, we have developed the appropriate technologies for work simplification, which include the following:
Messaging and Collaboration: These are technologies that support and simplify person-to-person collaboration. Our services here include the establishment of the infrastructure for collaboration on work and knowledge within an enterprise among persons, including teams and group members.
In addition, the technologies also enable collaboration with clients, contractors and business associates outside the organization or enterprise including even the Internet.
This is part of the empowerment the infrastructure that we have set up the Bureau of Public Enterprises has facilitated.
Team Support Technologies: These technologies are designed to automate and simplify the process of coordination and general management of distributed projects and teamwork. They specifically interface with standard Enterprise Project Management Technologies to assist the collaboration among team members or across project teams.
These capabilities we have implemented in a number of instances, but of specific mention is the implementation in the APACHE, as used in the management of distributed projects. In BPE, the essential implementation detail was also put in place.
Electronic Documents Management Systems: These technologies, while providing a means of structurally storing and managing documents information, also promotes the collaboration on such documents. This aspect will be dealt with in greater detail in later section
